LegalCircle is a platform that connects clients with independent, licensed lawyers, and helps lawyers manage cases, hearings, documents, and client communication. LegalCircle is not a law firm, does not employ the lawyers listed on the Platform, and does not itself provide legal advice or legal representation.
You can register as a client or as a lawyer. Lawyer accounts go through a verification step before they appear publicly in search results, so we can confirm the professional details provided at signup. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
Certain features (such as case analysis, legal hints, and strategy suggestions) are generated with the help of AI. These outputs are informational aids for lawyers and are not a substitute for independent professional judgment, and are never a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer.
You agree not to misuse the Platform — including uploading unlawful content, impersonating another person or firm, attempting to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or interfering with the normal operation of the service.
Clients may leave ratings and written reviews on a lawyer's profile. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience with that lawyer. We may remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or violate these Terms.
The Platform is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans or features in the future, we'll give you clear notice before any charges apply.
The Platform is provided "as is." LegalCircle does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or outcome of any legal services obtained through the Platform, and is not liable for the conduct or advice of any lawyer or client using it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LegalCircle's liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount (if any) you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform for accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Platform, or request account deletion, at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date; continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
