About Legal Circle

To make access to justice easier, more accessible, and more inclusive for everyone — especially those who cannot easily afford or access legal assistance.

Our Story

At the heart of Legal Circle is Zammad Ashraf, CEO of Legal Circle, whose journey combines technology, law, and a strong commitment to social justice.

Zammad completed his BS in Software Engineering from Government College University Faisalabad in 2021. He began his professional career as a Software Engineer, building experience in technology and software development.

Driven by a growing interest in law and justice, he later began his LL.B. from the University of the Punjab, bringing together his background in technology with his legal education.

This combination of technology and law became the foundation for the vision behind Legal Circle: using modern technology to help people better understand their legal rights and find pathways toward justice.

A Journey Built on Support

The journey behind Legal Circle is not the achievement of one person alone.

A significant part of this journey is credited to his parents, whose support and encouragement provided the foundation for his education and professional journey.

Special gratitude also goes to his brother, Hafiz Sohail Ashraf, and his sisters, whose support has remained an important part of this journey.

The contribution of friends and teachers has also played an important role by providing guidance, encouragement, knowledge, and inspiration throughout the years.

Special appreciation is also extended to his uncle, Brig. Ashfaq Hassan, SI (M), whose guidance and support have contributed to the journey and the values behind the work.

From Technology to Law

Zammad's journey from software engineering toward legal education reflects a belief that technology can play an important role in improving access to legal information and services.

Software engineering developed his understanding of technology, systems, and problem-solving. Legal education provided a deeper understanding of rights, responsibilities, laws, and the justice system.

Legal Circle brings these two worlds together.

Our goal is to explore how technology can make legal information easier to understand, legal resources easier to access, and legal assistance more approachable for ordinary people.

Foundation of Advocacy

Zammad is also a Co-Founder of the Foundation of Advocacy, an initiative built around the broader goal of promoting awareness, advocacy, and access to justice.

The experience and values developed through this work continue to contribute to the mission of Legal Circle.

Our Mission

“To help people understand their rights and make access to justice easier.”

We believe that financial circumstances should not prevent a person from understanding their legal rights. Our efforts are particularly focused on helping underprivileged and financially disadvantaged people who may struggle to obtain proper legal guidance.

Through technology, legal education, advocacy, and accessible resources, we aim to help bridge the gap between people and the justice system.

Our Vision

We envision a future where:

People can easily understand their basic legal rights.

Legal information is accessible to everyone.

Technology helps simplify complex legal processes.

Underprivileged people receive greater support in seeking justice.

Legal awareness becomes more widespread.

Lawyers, legal professionals, students, and communities can work together to improve access to justice.

Our Commitment

Legal Circle is more than a technology platform.

It represents a commitment to justice, legal awareness, accessibility, and service to society.

We are continuously working toward building tools and resources that can help people navigate legal challenges with greater knowledge and confidence.

Our journey is still developing, but our purpose remains clear:

Help the people. Protect their rights. Work for justice.

Legal Circle — Technology for Justice.
